I Started As a Receptionist

After following the scent of an awesome Mac Pro with a 30” monitor I met a woman who works in a different office in the same building.  She is probably 20 years older than me and very much into graphic design on the above mentioned Mac she has been working on.  She mentioned to me that she doesn’t have a degree in graphic design, but she has an innate ability to research and learn.  Therefore she learned how to use the equipment and has become the company’s in-house graphics designer.  Amazingly she mentioned in all of this that she started as their receptionist 20 years ago.  I was so impressed and felt so encouraged to continue my quest in learning Adobe CS3 and everything it entails.
