During a break in my real estate continuing education class the other day, I was shocked when my Broker, Paul Dizmang, got smacked upside the head by a colleague while he was returning phone calls to clients.  Although I found it a tiny bit funny, I still couldn’t believe the audacity this other REALTOR had.  I’m sure he was trying to be funny and I guess it kind of was.  But deep down, I really thought it was rude.

I hate ice storms.  The thing is, this one caught us by surprise over last year’s big ice storm.  Luckily we didn’t lose power, but we lost several tree limbs.  Ty and I live on 6 acres just outside the city and we have TONS of trees. Well, they came crashing down with 2” of ice.

Switching Banks....Grrrr.

Switching banks sucks.  But so does Bancorp South.

It is really sad that a great bank here in Springfield, MO like “The Bank” (ultimately The Signature Bank) had to merge with such a worthless company like Bancorp South.  First and foremost…they don’t have real time online banking status.  WTF? Are we back in 1999?  Non real-time banking is not good for a property management company with over 125 mortgage payments, 600 Tenants with possible NSF checks, and an average of $100K deposited monthly.  

So, all we can say to Bancorp South and their nickel-and-dime-you-to-death fees, sucky customer service and worthless out-of-date online banking system is BYE-BYE-BYE!!

Now Dizmang Properties is on to bigger and better things with a new bank.  And this goes out as a warning to anyone out there listening to me rant…..Run far, far away from Bancorp South they are no good!!
